🥇 Central Canadian Auto Theft Association 2025 Award of Merit 🥇 goes to Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams , Vin Verfication Services Ltd & Equite’ Association , RCMP F Division Auto Theft  &  RCMP K Division Auto Theft 🚨 Operation Elephant. 🚨 Matthew Strader presented a riveting investigation detailing the entire investigation in Camrose Alberta. This eventually lead to 17 search warrants being executed on November 21, 2022 predominantly in Camrose, but also in Camrose County, Ponoka County, and the Rural Municipality of Hillsdale, Sask.   More than 100 stolen vehicles, trailers, farming equipment, and other machinery, has been seized totalling around 3 million dollars. Charges were laid on May 15, 2024, bringing the nearly three-year ALERT Auto Crimes unit investigation to a close,  Known as Operation Elephant.  CCATA Would also like to formally recognize the 25 identifiers from Alberta and Saskatchewan who assisted in identifying the stolen assets.
